Iowa State Savings Bank hosted their third annual school supply drive. Between community donations and the ISSB matching program, over $2,700 of supplies and cash was distributed to six area schools.
A $500 check and donated school supplies were presented to Lenox Community School last week. ISSB matched the donations received during their school supply drive and the Pack the Bus program. Lenox schools will use the funds to purchase books for their new book vending machine and activities for kids during indoor recess.
Creston Community Schools, St Malachy School, Mayflower Heritage School, Southwest Valley Early Childhood Education Center, and Diagonal Community School also received school supplies, games, and funds to purchase new books and learning tools.
Iowa State Savings Bank is committed to community betterment through education and youth development. The bank has served south-central Iowa for over 135 years and has locations in Creston, Corning, Diagonal and Lenox. You can learn more about ISSB at www.issbbank.com.
