Reflecting back on 2019

As we enter the New Year, the Lenox Time Table looks back over the happenings in 2019.
Luke Ramsey won his first Division 5 national championship. He celebrated with his crew and family in Charlotte, North Carolina in December.
Steve Hill, son of Edwin and Elba Hill, who has been a tennis pro for 40 years, was named Director of Tennis at the St. Regis Hotel in Doha, Qatar near Saudi Arabia.
Abbey Murphy began teaching at Lenox School and will be the new English Language Learner teacher.
City crews cleaned up nearly a foot of snow that fell in Lenox in mid-January.
ISSB launched their second annual Make Things Better Campaign to promote and inspire kindness. Their goal is to receive at least 500 acts of kindness by February 15 and the bank will donate $10 for each act received, up to $5,000 with the funds going to the Food Bank of Iowa.
The Iowa Retail Initiative program kicked off in Lenox in January with a pilot program. The program is administered through Iowa State University Extension. Lenox is one of several communities chosen to participate.
Nicole Stephens talked about her travel business she operates out of her home. She started the business to help people create memories that will last a lifetime.
