Zabel Retires after 43 years at ISSB

Gary Zabel retired as Lenox Branch President of Iowa State Savings Bank on December 31st. Zabel started working at the bank as a part time teller in high school and has dedicated 43 years of service to the bank. Zabel’s primary focus was on agricultural lending.
ISSB Executive Vice President, Kevin Stewart, stated “Gary was a strong leader to our Ag Lending team. I want to thank him for his years of service and dedication to Iowa State Savings Bank and to our customers. We wish him well in retirement.”

Transition

Carson Claypool

Logan Larsen, Vice President Agricultural Lending, transitioned to the ISSB Lenox branch from Creston. Larsen graduated with an Agricultural Business degree from Northwest Missouri State and has worked at Iowa State Savings Bank in agricultural lending for 9 years. Larsen grew up on a farm in Southwest Iowa and continues working there today raising cattle, corn and soybeans.
Larsen remarks, “It’s an honor to be involved in the Lenox community and I look forward to working with people in the area.”
