Tiger Ladies Win at Bedford

Last Thursday the Lenox Girls Track team competed in a meet at Griswold.
12 teams were present including several larger schools. The Lenox ladies finished 5th  (71 points) behind Underwood, AHSTW, NV, & Shenandoah in a meet that medaled the top five place winners. Results are as follows:
200 Meter Dash- Junior Brooklynn Ecklin 5th 28.85 PR
800 Meter Run- Senior McKinna Hogan 2nd 2:41
100 Meter Hurdles- Senior Cassidy Nelson 3rd 17.06 PR
1500 Meter Run- McKinna Hogan 1st 5:28.59 PR
400 Meter Low Hurdles- Senior TJ Stoaks 1:16.65 4th
High Jump- Sophomore Cadence Douglas 2nd 4-10
4×100 Meter Relay- Brooklynn Ecklin, TJ Stoaks, Cadence Douglas, Cassidy Nelson 5th 56.52 SB
4×800 Meter Relay- Cassidy Nelson, TJ Stoaks, freshman Ava Junker, McKinna Hogan 11:14.02 1st
Distance Medley Relay- Cassidy Nelson, Brooklynn Ecklin, TJ Stoaks, McKinna Hogan 4:46.32 1st
Friday at a meet in Bedford the Tigers won the meet by just one point!  160 points to Bedford’s 159, Sidney scored 123, and OM 38 points. The Tigers have placed second twice this season. This total team effort of just eleven girls were able to bring home the trophy for the first time this season. Great job girls! Tiger Pride!
