Tiger Volleyball Looks to Turn a Corner

The Lenox Tiger Volleyball team had a tough past week, and are looking to turn a corner in their season to get back on track.
The Tigers traveled to Bedford after the Labor Day weekend, and fell three sets to one in the Pride of Iowa match. The Tigers dropped the first set 18-25, the second 19-25 before taking the third 25-19, and dropped set number four 25-27.
Thursday the Tigers were back at home in conference play against Central Decatur. The Tigers battled back and forth all night with the Cardinals. First set went to the Cardinals 25-22, the second went to the Tigers 26-24, in the third set Central Decatur won 25-21, the fourth set was all Lenox 25-15, and finally the fifth and final set went to the visiting Cardinal’s 15-13 to take the POI match three sets to two over Lenox.
Saturday the 11th the Lenox Tigers traveled to Shenandoah and fell to a scrappy Missouri Valley team in two sets 8-25 and 18-25. There were no individual stats available. The Tigers look to bounce back this week against Earlham (10-2) and East Union (4-7). Tiger Pride.
