Tiger Volleyball Tacks on a Win

By Tyler Peterson
The Lenox Tiger volleyball team had a big day on the road this weekend traveling to Corning to compete in the Southwest Valley Tournament.
The Tigers fell in their first set of the day to Southwest Valley 21-16, won the second 21-11, and fell in the last set 15-13 to lose the close match to the T-Wolves.
The second match of the day was equally as close as the Tigers fell to CAM: 16-21, 21-17, and 12-15.
Directly after the match to CAM the Tigers ran into a tough 2A team AHSTW and fell in two straight sets before finally getting over the hump to beat a 2A team; Panorama.
The much improved Tigers found their spots, dropping the Panthers in straight sets: 21-14, and 21-11 in dominant fashion. The Tigers are back in action this week Tuesday for senior night against Mt. Ayr. Tiger Pride.
