Cross Country at Clarinda

     On Tuesday night the Bedford Bulldogs Cross Country team headed to Clarinda for a meet with athletes from Nebraska City, Nodaway Valley, Shenandoah, Riverside, East Atchison, Atlantic, Essex, North Andrew, Fremont-Mills, and Southwest Valley. The Bulldogs placed seventh as a team finishing with 228 points. The host team Clarinda won the meet with 64 points. Tanner Rowe was the top Bulldog finisher crossing in 43rd place over all (35th team scoring). Jayven Welch finished 59th place (44th team scoring), Koen DeHass placed 70th (46th team scoring). Eli Johnson placed 81st (51st team scoring) overcoming rolling over in his wheelchair four times on the 5K course. Haydn Holman-Wheatly placed 83rd (52nd team scoring) out of an eighty-six athlete field.
