Iowa Veterinary Medical Association awards scholarship to Belding

Katelyn Belding

The Iowa Veterinary Medical Association (IVMA) is pleased to announce that Katelyn Belding originally of Lenox, IA is the recipient of the 2022 IVMA Foundation Incoming Freshman Scholarship for $2,000.
Katelyn graduated from Iowa State University with a degree in Animal Science and a minor in Feed Technology.  She is in her first year at Iowa State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine. After obtaining her DVM, Katelyn is interested in working in food animal medicine in a rural area in need of veterinary services.
Katelyn is the daughter of Rod and Jo Belding.
The Iowa Veterinary Medical Association (IVMA) is a 501c3 nonprofit, member-service organization dedicated to the veterinary profession. The IVMA supports member veterinarians and promotes the profession through continuing education, publications and advocacy.
