Lenox Tiger Boys Hoops

By Tyler Peterson
On the boys side of things the guys went 1-2 on the week with a great win over Bluegrass Conference Murray, and a pair of tight losses to Southwest Valley, and Rolling Valley Conference opponent Exira-EHK.
Monday the Tigers traveled to Murray and fell behind in the first quarter 10-15. In the second quarter the Tigers narrowed the gap to just one to trail 24-25 at half before outscoring the Mustangs 36-29 in the second half to win 60-54. The Tigers had four players with double figures. Senior Keaton England topped all scorers with 14 points, junior Carter Reed had 13, sophomore Gabe Funk had eleven, and senior Owen Junker had ten in a balanced scoring attack from Tigers.
Tuesday the Tigers returned home to take on Southwest Valley in POI play. The Tigers led the entire first half, but a huge third quarter from the T-Wolves catapulted the visitors to victory over the hometeam Tigers 63-55.

The guys will be in action one more time in 2022 as they travel to Diagonal Monday night. Tiger Pride!
