Grave markers for veterans available

     Do you have a veteran buried in a cemetery in Taylor County? Have you wondered how to obtain a grave marker (little flag holder)? The Taylor County Veterans Affairs provides one per veteran to a family member. If you are unable to pick up one, call our office at 712-523-2766 to request someone other than a family member to pick one up. There is no charge to the family. Every veteran has earned the right to be honored with a flag flying at their grave. Office hours for Taylor County Veterans Affairs are Tuesday and Wednesday, 10 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Friday 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The office is located at 305 Main Street, Bedford.
