A new antique store opened in Bedford this summer. Brick Street Antiques opened at 311 Main Street during BedfordFest on June 24.
Brick Street Antiques is made up of three separate businesses and they are Bullfrogs and Butterflies owned by Heather Archer, Blue Sign Vintiques owned by Kate Nothstine, and A Bushel and A Peck owned by Shelby (Moore) Lawson.
Two to three years ago Shelby rented a garage space that Kate was also in. After a while they started looking for a bigger space. “We expanded our search and ended up in Bedford,” said Shelby.
They looked at a couple buildings in town and fell in love with the building at 311 Main. (Shelby was also glad to be back in her hometown.) Because they had a bigger space than before they wanted to take on a third partner and Heather was just the person to be that third partner.
