Tiger Softball
The Lenox Tiger softball team kicked off their week with a contest against Taylor County rival- Bedford. Lenox scored five runs in the first inning, one in the second inning, two in the fifth inning and two in the seventh to amass ten runs that ultimately wasn’t enough to take down the Bulldogs. Bedford scored twice in the first, four in the second, one in the third, one in the fourth, and six in the top of the seventh inning to outlast the Tigers by a final score of 10-14.
Tuesday June 9th Lenox was back in action at home in Pride of Iowa play against East Union. Unfortunately the comeback fell short after the string of hits in that final inning and Lenox fell to East Union 4-7.
