Tiger Baseball Wins 2 of 3
The Lenox Tiger baseball team had a trio of games this past week against Bedford, Stanton, and East Union; and secured wins over Bedford and Stanton. Monday the showdown between the Taylor County foes Lenox and Bedford did not disappoint! Tigers 7; Bulldogs 6 in ten innings.
Tuesday the ninth of June the Tigers ran out of gas from the night before falling to the visiting Eagles from East Union. East Union exploded for seven runs in the top of the sixth inning that proved too much for the Tigers to overcome. Eagles-11; Tigers-4.
Wednesday the eleventh the Tigers bounced back with a lopsided victory on the road over the Stanton Vikings. Lenox jumped out to an eleven run top of the first inning, and never looked back- Tigers 17; Vikings-1 in four innings.
